Meet Joe, Your Local Gympie Technician
EAS Electrical & Air Conditioning Services managing director and technician, Joe Clarke, has been providing electrical and air conditioning services to the residential, commercial, and mining industries for the past 20 years. Since completing his apprenticeship in 2006, Joe has worked extensively across Queensland including Gympie, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Mackay, and Moranbah.
From 2007 to 2011 Joe successfully established and managed a new business for Pacific Coast Air Conditioning in Mackay. He built the business from the ground up, employing two apprentices to manage the increasing workload.
In 2012 Joe took on a new role as Wash Plant Maintenance Electrician at Anglo American’s Moranbah North Coal Mine. He quickly demonstrated his ability and skills and was offered a supervisory position, leading a team of electricians and apprentices in setting up new systems to link the Grosvenor and Moranbah North mines as part of the Commissioning, Project, and Maintenance Teams.
After a small stint in Brisbane installing air conditioning units in new multi-level apartment complexes and aged care facilities, Joe now permanently calls Gympie home.
